$y-65=3(x-65)$

$y=\frac{1}{2}x$ .....(2)

Put $y=\frac{1}{2}x$ in equation (1), we get,

$\frac{1}{2}x=3x-130$

$\frac{5}{2}x=130$

$x=52$

Put this value in equation (2)

$y=26$

Therefore, the point A is 26m above the ground and the horizontal distance is 52m from the endpoint.
