It has been shown by research that even though a lot of progress has been done on correcting problems with consent forms so that people can make informred decisions correctly and understand what it is they are being asked to decide on, there are still a lot of issues and people who read consent forms only understand, if at all, only portions of the information given, thus carrying a lot of problems later on. Because of this, researchers set on to discover the factors that might make it easier for people to not only listen to, but also understand and retain the information given to them in a consent form. In 2013, this research paper published in the JAMA Pediatrics of 2013 mentioned these factors that were discovered and that if used correctly and in conjunction, would ensure better understanding and better decision making when using consent forms. The first was the level of literacy of the reader of the consent form (parent with a study level of 8th vs 12th grade). Second, the extension of the information displayed in the form as people tend to disregard information after a certain limit of words has been reached. Also, the format that is used will affect the easiness with which a person may read and his/her brain may retain information. The use of verbal extra information also was proven to help in improving message comprehension and retaining with consent forms and finally, the use of graphics. These were the factors that were discussed in this research paper and which have been used to improve the use particularly of consent forms in pediatrics procedures and clinical trials.

Explain the concept of reciprocal determinism and how it relates to both negative and prosocial behaviors found on television.
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

Reciprocal determinism states that behavior is made up of three major factor that influences any behaviour, which are; The environment, the individual, and the bahavior it's self. It went further to states that an individual behavior influences and is influenced by both the social world and personal characteristics. Behavior is determined by the individual, through his choice of life style, and by the environment, through external social culture.

HOW IT RELATES TO NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR:

Negative bahavior are those behavior that are not socially acceptable. it relates that people who behaves badly may have had some eternal condition that prompt the behavior in them. For instance an individual how grows up where smokers stays, is likely to become a smoker, because he grew up among smokers (the environmental factor), he may have inhaled the smoke many times (the individual factor), So it tends not to be a new life style to him (the behavior it's self).

HOW IT RELATE TO PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR FOUND ON TELEVISION:

Prosocial behavior are those behavior that teaches us good moral, and how to be helpful to the society. Because we are influenced by the environment, and the behavior or lifestyle we often see around us. The television is part of our environment, which shows many prosocial behavior. We can easily be influenced through that if we watch such characters in the television always. For instance when you like watching Bollywood movies, you will automatically loves Indian songs. Because the movie always shows their songs .

How were Richard Russell's and Carl Vinson's approaches to growing Georgia's economy similar or different? Please hurry its for
weqwewe [10]

Richard Russel tried to run the state of Georgia as it were a successful business. He consolidated 102 different state offices into 17 agencies. He created the Board of Regions from the state's college system . After being a governor of Georgia he was elected as senator and he served there for 38 years. Carl Vinson  is often referred to as the "father of representatives of the two-ocean navy". He was 25 consecutive terms representing Georgia in the U.S.  House of Representatives from 1914 to 1965.  Vinson, a native of Baldwin County, served as chairman of the House Naval Affairs Committee for 16 years and its successor, the House Armed Services Committee for 14 years. Even before World War II, Georgia’s economy had grown to depend heavily on the state’s military installations, and Vinson represented Georgia’s interest in the military through his committee work. Vinson was a major influence in promoting a strong national defense.  As you cans see both Russel and Vinson were good men that helped their state in the public service. However Russell was more involved in the governance while Vince's work is more related to the military, the navy and the national defense. Russel made economies in the administration of Georgia and Vince improve Geogia's economy taking advantage of the good relationship with the militaty and the navy.
