A square loop of wire has a perimeter of 4.00 mm and is oriented such that two of its parallel sides form a 13.0 ∘∘ angle with t

he xx-axis and other two sides are parallel to the yy-axis. A uniform horizontal magnetic field parallel to the xx-axis has a magnitude of 0.250 TT . passes though the loop
a) Calculate the magnetic flux through the loop.
b) Another loop lies in the same plane but has an irregular shape, resembling a starfish. Its area is three times greater than that of the square loop. Calculate the flux through this loop.

Answer:

a) (2.436 × 10⁻⁷) Wb

b) (7.308 × 10⁻⁷) Wb

Explanation:

Magnetic flux is the dot product of the magnetic field vector and the Area vector.

Mathematically, it is given as

Φ = BA cos θ

where B = magnetic field strength

A = Cross sectional Area of the loop enclosed

θ = angle between the magnetic field and the plane of the area.

a) B = 0.250 T

To find A, the perimeter of the loop is given as 4.00 mm.

Perimeter of a square = 4L

4L = 4.00

L = 1.00 mm = 0.001 m

The area is given as L²

A = (0.001)² = 0.000001 m²

θ = 13°

Φ = BA cos θ

Φ = 0.25 × 0.000001 × cos 13°

Φ = 0.0000002436 Wb = (2.436 × 10⁻⁷) Wb

b) Another loop lies in the same plane but has an irregular shape, resembling a starfish. Its area is three times greater than that of the square loop

Φ = BA cos θ

B = 0.25 T

A = 3 × 0.000001 = 0.000003 m²

θ = 13°

Φ = 0.25 × 0.000003 × cos 13°

Φ = 0.0000007308 Wb = (7.308 × 10⁻⁷) Wb

Hope this Helps!!!

dopasuj wartości pracy z ramki do przedstawionych sytuacji ,a nastepnie wyraż te prace w dżulach uwaga jedna wartośc pracy nie b
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

A (samolot) - 200 MJ = 200000000 J

B (dźwig) - 800 kJ = 800000 J

C (podnośnik)-1.6 kJ = 1600 J

Explanation:

Całą część pytania można znaleźć na poniższym schemacie.

Z diagramu załączonego poniżej; mamy

A - samolot lotniczy

B - dźwig

C - podnoszenie ciężarów

Wszyscy to wiemy ;

1kJ = 1000 J

1MJ = 1000000 J

Mamy cztery opcje; i.e 200 MJ, 800 kJ, 1.6 kJ  and 250 mJ

Z czterech opcji można wykluczyć 250 mJ, ponieważ jest to 0,25 J, co przedstawia bardzo niską energię w porównaniu z trzema warunkami pokazanymi na schemacie.

Więc:

A (samolot) - 200 MJ = 200000000 J

A 1.0-m-long copper wire of diameter 0.10 cm carries a current of 50.0 A to the east. Suppose we apply to this wire a magnetic f
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

The classification of that same issue in question is characterized below.

Explanation:

The given values are:

Current, I = 50.0 A

Diameter, d = 0.10 cm

(a)...

As we know,

⇒  Magnetic force = Copper wire's weight

So,

⇒   B\times I\times L=M\times g

On putting the estimated values, we get

⇒  B\times 50\times 1=7.037\times 10^{-3}\times 9.81

⇒  50B=69.03297\times 10^{-3}

⇒  B=1.38\times 10^{-3} \ T

(b)...

As we know,

⇒  m=\delta\times L\times \frac{\pi \ d^2}{4}

⇒      =8960\times 1\times \frac{\pi \ (0.001)^2}{4}

⇒      =2240\times \pi \ 0.000001

⇒      =7.037\times 10^{-3} \ kg

Every winter I fly home to Chicago. It takes 3 hours. What is my average speed?
Tanya [424]

It depends on where you live when you're not visiting Chicago. We need to know the distance of the trip.

Your average speed on the trip is . . .

(total distance in miles) / (3 hours)

miles per hour
