Answer:

Explanation:

2Mg + O₂  = 2MgO .

2 moles of Mg reacts with one mole of O₂

2 moles of Mg loses 4 moles of electrons because there are 2 positive charges on each atom of Mg .

On each atom of oxygen  there are 2 negative charges

on two atom of oxygen there are 4 negative charges

on one mole of O₂ there are 4 moles of negative  charges

Hence ,

when 2 moles of Mg loses 4 moles of electrons , 4 moles of negative charges are gained by oxygen.

when 2.5  moles of Mg loses 5 moles of electrons , 5 moles of negative charges are gained by oxygen.

Natalka [10]

Answer:

E = 1.33 MeV = 2.13 x 10^{-13} J

v = wavelength = E / h = 2.13 x 10^{-13} / 6.626 x 10^{-34} = 3.2 x 10^{20} m

f = frequency = c / 3.2 x 10^{20} m = 3 x 10^{8} / 3.2 x 10^{20} = 9.375 x 10^{-13} Hz

2.5 moles of sodium chloride is dissolved<br> to make 0.050 liters of solution.
ivanzaharov [21]

The answer is:

the molarity = 50 moles/liters

The explanation:

when the molarity is = the number of moles / volume per liters.

and when the number of moles =2.5 moles

and the volume per liters = 0.05 L

so by substitution:

the molarity = 2.5moles/0.05L

                    = 50 moles /L

How is the periodic law demonstrated in halogens
inn [45]
Halogens is defined as the group of 7 periodic table. As, every periodic table contains 7 valence electrons and they only need 1 more to complete an outer shell, that is why they are extremely reactive. And according to the law that recurring patterns of the properties of elements arise when they are arranged in order of increasing atomic number. As the halogen all act very similarly with each other in chemical reaction, it is true.

Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Endothermic means: accompanied by or requiring the absorption of heat. So therefor cold packs would not be endothermic because they don't release cold. Instead they absorb heat
