Answer:8 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Lester worked 12 hours last week at the Grocery Store and earned $93.00

Using Unitary method to get 1 hour pay

i.e. for 1 hour Lester is paid \frac{93}{12}=$7.75 per hour

To earn $62 dollar Lester has to work for another

\frac{62}{7.75}=8 hours

Thus Lester has to work for 8 hours to earn $62.

93 / 12 = 7.75

so Lester earns $7.75 a hour.

if he earns $62 how many hours did he work.

so 62 = 7.75 (h)

62/ 7.75 = 8

so he worked 8 hours.

Steve stayed after school for extra activities 55% of the 180 school days this year. How many days did Steve stay after school?
musickatia [10]

Answer:

11/20 or 99/180 days

Step-by-step explanation:

55/100 converted to ?/180

180/100=1.8

so you would do the same on the numerator which is 55*1.8=99

99/180= 33/60=11/20

Which is a stretch of an exponential growth function? f(x) = Two-thirds (two-thirds) Superscript x f(x) = Three-halves (two-thir
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

f(x) = Three-halves (three-halves) Superscript x

f(x) = Two-thirds (three-halves) Superscript x

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, a function in the form of f(x) = ab^x

Where, a and b are any constant,

is called exponential function,

There are two types of exponential function,

  • Growth function : If b > 1,
  • Decay function : if 0 < b < 1,

Since, In

f(x) =\frac{2}{3}(\frac{2}{3})^x

\frac{2}{3} < 1

Thus, it is a decay function.

in f(x) =\frac{3}{2}(\frac{2}{3})^x

\frac{2}{3} < 1

Thus, it is a decay function.

in f(x) =\frac{3}{2}(\frac{3}{2})^x

\frac{3}{2} > 1

Thus, it is a growth function.

in f(x) =\frac{2}{3}(\frac{3}{2})^x

\frac{3}{2} > 1

Thus, it is a growth function.
