Since heat here is conserved that means that the heat out is equal to the heat in. We use the expression Q = mC(T2-T1). We caclulate as follows:

Q absorbed = Q released
m1 C (T-T1) = -m2 C (T-T1)

C can be cancelled since they are the same substance.

m1 (T-T1) = -m2 (T-T1)
25 (T-10) = -12 (T-30)
T = 16.49 degrees Celsius

A gas has an initial volume of 168 cm3 at a temperature of 255 K and a pressure of 1.6 atm. The pressure of the gas decreases to
erastovalidia [21]
Would presume you are asked to find the volume, since there is no second volume.

By General Gas Law:

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

1.6 * 168 /255 = 1.3*V₂/285

V₂ = 1.6 * 168 * 285 / (1.3*255)

V₂ = 231.095

Final volume ≈ 231 cm³

A table tennis ball with a mass of 0.003 kg and a soccer ball with a mass of 0.43 kg or both Serta name motion at 16 M/S calcula
poizon [28]
Let us first know the given: Tennis ball has a mass of 0.003 kg, Soccer ball has a mass of 0.43 kg. Having the same velocity at 16 m/s. First the equation for momentum is P=MV P=Momentum M=Mass V=Velocity. Now let us have the solution for the momentum of tennis ball. Pt=0.003 x 16 m/s= (    kg-m/s ) I use the subscript "t" for tennis.  Momentum of Soccer ball Ps= 0.43 x 13m/s = (      km-m/s). If we going to compare the momentum of both balls, the heavier object will surely have a greater momentum because it has a larger mass, unless otherwise  the tennis ball with a lesser mass will have a greater velocity to be equal or greater than the momentum of a soccer ball.

A light ray strikes a plane mirror at an angle of 23° to the normal. What is the angle between the reflected ray and the mirror?
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:67^{\circ}

Explanation:

Given

Ray of light incident on plane making an angle of 23^{\circ} with normal

Thus incident angle i=23^{\circ}

So according to the law of incidence is equal to angle of reflection

\angle i=\angle r

thus \angle r=23^{\circ}

and angle between mirror and reflected ray =90^{\circ}-23^{\circ}

=67^{\circ}
