Electromagnets<span> are basically coils of wire which behave like bar magnets with a distinct north and south pole when an electrical current passes through the coil. The better the conductivity of the material the bigger the strength of Ryan's electromagnet.
The material are sorted as follows:
1. C) silver - the best conductor
2. E) iron
3. D) nickel
4. C) steel
5. F) glass - insulator
5. A) wood - insulator
Insulators do not conduct electricity.</span>

The howler monkey is the loudest land animal and, under some circumstances, can be heard up to a distance of 8.9 km. Assume the
exis [7]

Answer:

113.7

Explanation:

maximum distance (s) = 8.9 km

reference intensity (I0) = 1 x 10^{-12} W/m^{2}

power of a juvenile howler monkey (p) = 63 x 10^{-6} W

distance (r) = 210 m

intensity (I) = power/area

where we assume the area of a sphere due to the uniformity of the output in all directions

area = 4πr^{2} =  4π x 210^{2} = 554,176.9 m^{2}

intensity (I) = \frac{63 x 10^{-6} }{554,176.9} = 113.7 x 10^{-12}

therefore the desired ratio I/I0 = \frac{113.7 x 10^{-12}}{1 x 10^{-12}} = 113.7

Chose the word that correctly completes the following sentence: Kirchoff's junction law expresses the conservation of ____. a) m
Radda [10]

Answer:A- mass charge.

This can also be called current.

Explanation:

This is Kirchhoff’s 2nd law.

Kirchhoff’s junction law states that the sum of current(mass charge) flowing in and out of the junction must be equal to zero. This law emphasizes conservation of charge and energy. Charge is also a form of energy and it can neither be created nor destroyed.

What is the final temperature when a 3.0 kg gold bar at 99 0C is dropped into 0.22 kg of water at 25oC?
slavikrds [6]

I will post my work, but is that 99 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius?

All you have to do is plug in the initial temperature for gold where it says Tg and the initial temperature for the water where it says Tw and then plug that in and you will have your answer.
