Answer:- D) AAS Theorem

Explanation:-

Given :- Δ ADC where ∠A=∠C , ∠ABD=90° which means Bd is an altitude .

⇒∠CBD =90° [∵∠ABD+∠CBD=180° linear pair]

Proof :- In  ∆ABD and ∆CBD.

∠A=∠C [given]..> angle

∠ABD=∠CBD [right angle]..> angle

BD=BD [Reflexive property]..> side

⇒ ∆ABD ≅ ∆CBD [by AAS congruence theorem]

AAS congruence theorem tells that if two angles and one side of a triangle is congruent to the two angles and one side of a triangle then the triangles are congruent.

Hey there!

Triangle CBD is congruent to triangle ABD. This means that BD is congruent to BD by reflexive property. You have two congruent angles, and one congruent side. This would be AAS theorem. The answer is D.

I hope this helps!

the center of a circular sunflower with a diameter of 4 centimeters is (-2,1). Which equation represents the sunflower?
BigorU [14]
The standard equation the circle is given by:
(x-xo) ^ 2 + (y-yo) ^ 2 = r ^ 2
Where,
(xo, yo): coordinates of the center of the circle
r: radius of the circle
Substituting values we have:
(x - (- 2)) ^ 2 + (y-1) ^ 2 = (4/2) ^ 2
Rewriting:
(x + 2) ^ 2 + (y-1) ^ 2 = 4
Answer:

An equation that represents the sunflower is:

(x + 2) ^ 2 + (y-1) ^ 2 = 4

Beck finished 30% of his homework in 12 minutes. How many minutes will it take him to complete all of his homework?
arlik [135]
The correct answer is choice D. If you put choice D into words, it is saying 30% (0.3) of the total is 12 minutes.

To solve this, use inverse operations.

0.3m = 12
0.3       0.3
m = 40

It will take Beck 40 minutes.
