Answer:

(a) 15.96 C (B)47.88 J (C) 9.975\times 10^{19}electron

Explanation:

We have given current i =0.133 A

Voltage of the battery V =3 volt

Time t=2 minute=2×60=120 sec

(a) We have to find the charge

charge Q = current ×time

So Q=0.133\times 120=15.96C

(B) The energy supplied by the battery

Energy = charge ×potential difference

So E=15.96\times 3=47.88J

(C) We know that charge on one electron e=1.6\times 10^{-19}C

So number of electron n=\frac{Q}{e}=\frac{15.96}{1.6\times 10^{-19}}=9.975\times 10^{19}electron

Which of the following best describes a capacitor?
galben [10]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The capacitor is a component which has the ability to store energy in the form of an electrical charge  making a potential difference on those two metal plates

A capacitor consists of two or more parallel conductive (metal) plates. They are electrically seperated by an insulating material (ex: air, mica,ceramic etc.) which is called as Dielectric Layer

Due to this insulating layer, DC current can not flow through the capacitor.But it allows a voltage to be present across the plates in the form of an electrical charge.

liberstina [14]

Answer:5.17 m/s

Explanation:

Given

let u be the speed at cliff initial point

range over cliff is 1.45 m

and range of projectile is given by

R=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{g}

1.45=\frac{u^2\sin 90}{9.8}

u=3.77 m/s

Conserving Energy

E_{bottom}=E_{initial\ point\ at\ cliff}

Kinetic energy=Kinetic energy +Potential energy gained

Let v be the initial velocity

\frac{mv^2}{2}=mgh+\frac{mu^2}{2}

v^2=u^2+2gh

v=\sqrt{u^2+2gh}

v=\sqrt{3.77^2+2\time 9.8\times 0.64}

v=\sqrt{26.75}=5.17 m/s
