Answer: Heat of fusion of this substance is 41 J/g

Explanation:

Latent heat of fusion is the amount of heat required to convert 1 g of solid to liquid at atmospheric pressure.

It is given that amount of heat required to melt 20 gram of a substance= 820 J

Heat required to melt 20 g of a substance= 820 J

Thus Heat required to melt 1 g of  a substance=\frac{820}{20}\times 1=41J

Thus heat of fusion of this substance is 41 J/g
