The group of scientists would have to compare the data they collected, then probably make a chart or graph to see how they compare physical. Once they are done with that they will have to see how it compares to there hypothesis if it is close to what they wanted they could now continue more experiments.

Which temperature is equal to 120. K?
(1) -153°C (3) +293°C
(2) -120.°C (4) +393°C
Marysya12 [62]
First of all, the formula for finding Kelvin is Celsius + 273
Therefore, if we subtract 273, we get the temperature in degrees
120 - 273 = - 153

Therefore, the answer is (1), or -153 degrees Celsius

Hope this helped!! :D

How many grams of copper (I) chloride can be produced from the reaction of 73.5 g of copper (I) oxide with hydrochloric acid acc
natulia [17]

The balanced equation for the reaction is as follows

Cu₂O + 2HCl ---> 2CuCl + H₂O

Molar ratio of Cu₂O to CuCl is 1:2

mass of Cu₂O reacted - 73.5 g

Number of moles of Cu₂O reacted - 73.5 g / 143 g/mol = 0.51 mol

According to the molar ratio,

when 1 mol of Cu₂O reacts then 2 mol of CuCl is formed

therefore when 0.51 mol of Cu₂O reacts then - 2 x 0.51 mol of CuCl is formed

number of CuCl moles formed - 1.02 mol

mass of CuCl formed - 1.02 mol x 99 g/mol = 101 g

mass of CuCl formed is 101 g

Magnesium reacts with iron(III) chloride to form magnesium chloride (which can be used in fireproofing wood and in disinfectants
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

154.0831 g

Explanation:

The formula for the calculation of moles is shown below:

moles = \frac{Mass\ taken}{Molar\ mass}

Given: For Mg

Given mass = 41.0 g

Molar mass of Mg = 24.31 g/mol

Moles of Mg = 41.0 g / 24.31 g/mol = 1.6865 moles

Given: For FeCl_3

Given mass = 175 g

Molar mass of FeCl_3 = 162.2 g/mol

Moles of FeCl_3 = 175 g / 162.2 g/mol = 1.0789 moles

According to the given reaction:

3Mg_{(s)}+2FeCl_3_{(s)}\rightarrow 3MgCl_2_{(s)}+2Fe_{(s)}

3 moles of Mg react with 2 moles of FeCl_3

1 mole of Mg react with 2/3 moles of FeCl_3

1.6865 mole of Mg react with (2/3)*1.6865 moles of FeCl_3

Moles of FeCl_3 = 1.1243 moles

Available moles of FeCl_3 = 1.0789 moles

Limiting reagent is the one which is present in small amount. Thus, FeCl_3 is limiting reagent. (1.0789 < 1.1243)

The formation of the product is governed by the limiting reagent. So,

2 moles of FeCl_3 gives 3 moles of magnesium chloride

1 mole of FeCl_3 gives 3/2 moles of magnesium chloride

1.0789 mole of FeCl_3 gives (3/2)*1.0789 moles of magnesium chloride

Moles of magnesium chloride = 1.61835 moles

Molar mass of magnesium chloride = 95.21 g/mol

Mass of magnesium chloride = Moles × Molar mass = 1.61835 × 95.21 g = 154.0831 g

What mass of oxygen reacts when 84.9 g of iron is consumed in the following reaction: Fe+O2= Fe2O3
konstantin123 [22]
First we will calculate the number of moles of Iron:
n = \frac{m}{M}
, where n is the number of moles, m is the mass of iron in the reaction and M is the Atomic weight.
n= \frac{84.9}{55.845} = 1,52 moles of Iron.
The same number of moles of Oxygen will take part in the reaction.
So 1,52= \frac{mOxygen}{32} where 32 is the Atomical Weight of Oxygen (16 x 2).
=>mOxygen=32*1,52=48,64g

Mr. Smith is hyperglycemic with a blood glucose level of 300mg/ml of blood. Explain how homeostasis would regulate his glucose l
aleksley [76]

Answer:

When the animal has eaten food and the blood glucose level in the body increases. The pancreas cells in the body detects the increase in the blood glucose which leads to increase the insulin hormone.

This decreases the blood glucose level in the level. This is how the negative feedback works in the body if the level of glucose increases.

Negative feedback is the way by which the body maintains homeostasis and maintains equilibrium in the body.
