The article also relies on (expert opinion, association, celebrities, emotional appeals) which involves the endorsement of an idea or opinion by a renowned professional in that particular field.
In contrast, the NOAA video uses visuals of animals to appeal to the viewer’s(logic, emotions, ethics, reason). It makes(ill-imformed, frivolous, passionate, illogical)claims about the worsening Arctic conditions and the adverse effects they have on animal life.

Those information have been thoroughly examined by other scientists and declare valid. Such information are usually reliable and one can use them to support one's argument. Scientists usually use scientific data to back up their claims.

2. EXPERT OPINION: an expert opinion refers to the view of a professional who is an expert in a particular field. The opinion of such people usually matter because, their opinions can be relied upon. Their opinion is considered reliable because they know their subjects thoroughly and they can speak authoritatively on it. Expert opinions are usually use in logical arguments to back up claims.

3. EMOTIONS: emotions refers to strong feelings that arise as a result of one's situation, mood, etc. Sometimes, strong emotions do not allow one to reason logically. An author or a speaker can present his topic in such a way that, he will stir up people's emotions, so that they will favor and accept his arguments and claims. Such author and speaker usually use words and visuals to win audience support and to favor their claims, which may not have any scientific basis.

4. PASSIONATE: to be passionate means to be controlled or directed by strong, intense feelings. Speakers and authors that appeal to the emotions of their audience and readers usually use passionate words, that are geared toward stirring the emotions of the people up. This is usually done in order to make people see a situation from their own perspective. In this kind of situation, emotions usually prevail over logical reasoning.
