Answer : The number of carbon atoms present in propane is, 38.29\times 10^{23} and the number of hydrogen atoms present in propane is, 102.13\times 10^{23}

Solution : Given,

Moles of propane = 2.12 moles

In propane molecule, there are 3 carbon atoms and 8 hydrogen atoms present.

As we know that 1 mole of gas contains 6.022\times 10^{23} number of atoms

First we have to calculate the number of carbon atoms.

As, 1 mole of gas contains 3\times 6.022\times 10^{23} number of carbon atoms

So, 2.12 mole of gas contains 3\times 2.12\times 6.022\times 10^{23}=38.29\times 10^{23} number of carbon atoms

Now we have to calculate the number of hydrogen atoms.

As, 1 mole of gas contains 8\times 6.022\times 10^{23} number of hydrogen atoms

So, 2.12 mole of gas contains 8\times 2.12\times 6.022\times 10^{23}=102.13\times 10^{23} number of hydrogen atoms

Therefore, the number of carbon atoms present in propane is, 38.29\times 10^{23} and the number of hydrogen atoms present in propane is, 102.13\times 10^{23}

If 32.0 g of MgSO4⋅7H2O is thoroughly heated, what mass of anhydrous magnesium sulfate will remain?
Arada [10]
Find moles of MgSO4.7H2O

molar mass = 246
so moles  = 32 / 246  = 0.13 moles.

When heated, all 7 H2O from 1 molecule will be gone.
total moles of H2O present = 7 x 0.13 = 0.91
mass of those H2O = 0.91 x 18  = 16.38g

so mass of anyhydrous MgSO4 remain = 32 - 16.38 = 15.62 g

To 100.0 g water at 25.00 ºc in a well-insulated container is added a block of aluminum initially at 100.0 ºc. the temperature o
11111nata11111 [884]
When the amount of heat gained = the amount of heat loss

so, M*C*ΔTloses = M*C* ΔT gained

when here the water is gained heat as the Ti = 25°C and Tf= 28°C so it gains more heat.

∴( M * C * ΔT )W = (M*C*ΔT) Al

when Mw is the mass of water = 100 g

and C the specific heat capacity of water = 4.18

and ΔT the change in temperature for water= 28-25 = 3 ° C

and ΔT the change in temperature for Al = 100-28= 72°C

and M Al is the mass of Al block

C is the specific heat capacity of the block = 0.9

so by substitution:

100 g * 4.18*3 = M Al * 0.9*72

∴ the mass of Al block is = 100 g *4.18 / 0.9*72

                                          = 19.35 g

Answer:

The correct statements are given below

Explanation:

b Enoyl CoA isomerase an enzyme that converts cis double bonds to trans double bonds in fatty acid metabolism, bypasses a step that reduces Q,resulting in the higher ATP yield.

c Even chain fatty acids are oxidized to acetyl CoA in the beta oxidation pathway.

f The final round of beta oxidation foe a 13 carbon saturated fatty acid yields acetyl CoA and propionyl CoA a three carbon fragment.
