30 cm³ / 1000 = 0.03 L

Molar mass HCl = 36.46 g/mol

number of moles:

mass of solute / molar mass

1.25 / 36.46 = 0.03428 moles

M = n / V

M = 0.03428 / 0.03

M = 1.14267 mol/L⁻¹

hope this helps!

Iron-59 is used in medicine to diagnose blood circulation disorders. The half life of iron-59 is 44.5 days. How much of a 2.000
kolezko [41]

Answer:

0.258 mg of iron remains.

Explanation:

To solve this problem we can use the formula

M₂ = M₀ * 0.5^{\frac{t}{44.5} }

Where M₂ is the mass remaining, M₀ is the initial mass, and t is time in days.

Using the data given by the problem:

M₂ = 2.000 mg * 0.5^{\frac{133.5}{44.5} }

M₂ = 0.258 mg

Hydrazine (N2H4) and dinitrogen tetroxide (N2O4) form a self-igniting mixture that has been used as a rocket propellant. The rea
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

An oxidizing accepts an electron and becomes reduced while a reducing agent loses an electron and become oxidized.

Chemical equation:

1) 2 N₂H₄ + N₂O₄ → 3 N₂ + 4 H₂O

2) Hydrazine ( N₂H₄)  is being oxidized

Dinitrogen tetroxide N₂O₄ is being reduced

3) The reducing agent is Hydrazine ( N₂H₄) and the oxidizing agent is dinitrogen tetroxide (N₂O₄)

Suppose, in an experiment to determine the amount of sodium hypochlorite in bleach, you titrated a 26.34 mL sample of 0.0100 M K
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

0.1 M

Explanation:

The overall balanced reaction equation for the process is;

IO3^- (aq)+ 6H^+(aq) + 6S2O3^2-(aq) → I-(aq) + 3S4O6^2-(aq) + 3H2O(l)

Generally, we must note that;

1 mol of IO3^- require 6 moles of S2O3^2-

Thus;

n (iodate) = n(thiosulfate)/6

C(iodate) x V(iodate) = C(thiosulfate) x V(thiosulfate)/6

Concentration of iodate C(iodate)= 0.0100 M

Volume of iodate= V(iodate)= 26.34 ml

Concentration of thiosulphate= C(thiosulfate)= the unknown

Volume of thiosulphate=V(thiosulfate)= 15.51 ml

Hence;

C(iodate) x V(iodate) × 6/V(thiosulfate) = C(thiosulfate)

0.0100 M × 26.34 ml × 6/15.51 ml = 0.1 M

g Select the irreversible reactions of glycolysis. conversion of glucose to glucose 6‑phosphate by hexokinase conversion of gluc
alexdok [17]

Answer:

1) Conversion of glucose to glucose 6-phosphate by hexokinase

2) Conversion of fructose 6-phosphate to fructose 1,6-biphosphate by phosphofructokinase

3) Conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate by pyruvate kinase

Explanation:

There are 10 steps in the glycolysis pathway, three of which are irreversible. The enzymes controlling these reactions have not only catalytic properties but the irreversibility of the reaction gives them regulatory properties as well.  These reactions serve as control points in the pathway.

. Divide 94.20 g by 3.167 22 mL.
jeka94
94.20 g/3.16722 mL = 29.74 g/mL

The ratio of mass to volume is equal to the substance's density. Thus, 29.74 g/mL is the density of whatever substance it may be. Density does not change for incompressible matter like solid and some liquids. Although, it may be temperature dependent.
