If we are talking about direct contribution, then the answers should be Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton.

Isaac Newton's universal law of gravitation stemmed from Johannes Kepler's theory about the planetary orbits. Kepler figured out how planets move around the sun, but he did not explain why they do that. Isaac Newton filled in that gap in Kepler's theory.

Now I say directly because like almost all scientific theories and laws are based on works of others. Kepler's theory is based on Tycho's and Tycho's is based on Copernicus'.

What principles of science (like facts, laws, and theories) might help explain why similar investigations conducted in many part
natulia [17]

Answer:

Reproducibility of research

Explanation:

The principle of science that explains why similar experimental investigations conducted in different parts of the world could result in the same outcome is referred to as reproducibility.

A good research or experiment in science must be reproducible, otherwise, the outcome of such an experiment might become inadmissible within the scientific community. It is a core principle of the scientific method that similar results should be obtained when an experiment or observational study conducted in one place is repeated in another place with the same procedure. Hence, an experiment must be reproducible in science in order for the outcome of such an experiment to be part of the general scientific knowledge.

As shown in the figure below, Justin walks from the house to his truck on a windy day. He walks 20 m toward
juin [17]

Complete Question

The complete question is shown on the first uploaded image

Answer:

The velocity is   v =0.333 \  m/s in positive x -direction

The speed is s = 0.733 \ m/s

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

The distance from the house to truck is D = 20 m

  The distance traveled back to retrieve wind-blown hat is d = 15

  The distance from the wind-blown hat position too the truck is k = 20 m

  The total time taken is  t  =  75 s

Generally when calculating the displacement the Justin's backward movement to collect his wind - blown hat is taken as negative

Generally Justin's displacement is mathematically represented as

      L  =  20 - 15 + 20

=>    L  =  25 \ m

Generally the average velocity is mathematically represented as

          v  =  \frac{L}{t}

=>      v = \frac{25}{75}

=>      v =0.333 \  m/s

Generally the distance covered by Justin is mathematically represented as

         R =  D+ d + k

=>      R =  20 + 15 +20

=>     R =  55 \  m

Generally Justin's average speed over a 75 s period is mathematically represented as

            s = \frac{R}{ t}

=>         s = \frac{55}{ 75}

=>        s = 0.733 \ m/s

Susan and Hannah are each riding a swing. Susan has a mass of 25 kilograms, and Hannah has a mass of 30 kilograms. Susan’s swing
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

Kinetic energy is given by:

K.E. = 0.5 m v²

Susan has mass, m = 25 kg

Velocity with which Susan moves is, v = 10 m/s

Hannah has mass, m' = 30 kg

Velocity with which Hannah moves is, v' = 8.5 m/s

Kinetic energy of Susan:

0.5 m v² = 0.5 × 25 kg × (10 m/s)² = 1250 J

Kinetic energy of Hannah:

0.5 m v'² = 0.5 × 30 kg × (8.5 m/s)² = 1083.75 J

Susan's kinetic energy is 1250 J and Hannah's kinetic energy is 1083.75 J.

Since kinetic energy is dependent on mass and square of speed. Thus, speed has a greater effect than mass. As it is evident from the above example. Susan has greater kinetic energy due to higher speed than Hannah.
