M=D*V
D=620 g/cm³
V=75 cm³

m= 620 g/cm³ * 75 cm³=46500 g
m=46500g

Which statement best describes the oxidation numbers of the atoms found in magnesium chloride?
Natalka [10]

Answer- The correct choice of answer out of all would be option C.

Explanation

The given substance magnesium chloride made out of combination of chlorine and magnesium is a compound. Where magnesium has two positive ions and chlorine has two negative ions which trigger the reaction.

Hence the oxidation of the 2 positive ions of Magnesium takes place  and reduction of the Negative Ion chlorine has to offer attract and stabilize each other by forming the compound .

How many possible stereoisomers are there of propylene glycol, an organic compound found in clearasil acne cream, caladryl, colg
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

2

Explanation:

Isomers are molecules with the same molecular formula, but with some difference. If that difference is in the manner the atoms are distributed in the molecule, they are called structural isomers; if the difference is the way the molecule is in space, they're called space isomers (cis/trans); and there are the stereoisomers, which the molecules are images that can be overlapping.

The stereoisomers have the property to deviate the polarized light, and, when a molecule has a chiral carbon, it means that it has stereoisomers. The number of stereoisomers is 2ⁿ, where n is the number of chiral carbons.

Chiral carbon is a carbon that bonds with four different structures. So, below is represented the molecule of propylene glycol, and it has only one chiral carbon (see the blue arrow), so, it has only 2 stereoisomers.

How would each of the following procedural errors affect the results to be expected in this experiment? Give your reasoning in e
Digiron [165]

Answer:

a) if the liquid is not vaporized completely, then the condensed vapor in the flask contains the air which is initially occupied before the liquid is heated. When calculating the molar mass of the vapor the moles of air which are initially present are not excluded, so that the molar mass of the vapor would be an increase in value.

b) While weighing the condensed vapor, the flask should be dried. If the weighing flask is not dried then the water which is layered on the surface of the flask is also added to the mass of the vapor. Therefore, the mass of the vapor that is calculated would be increase.

c) When condensing the vapor, the stopper should not be removed from the flask, because the vapor will escape from the flask and a small amount of vapor will condense in the flask. Therefore, the mass of the condensed vapor would be In small value.

d) If all the liquid is vaporized, when the flask is removed before the vapor had reached the temperature of boiling water, then the boiling

temperature of that liquid would be lower than that of the boiling temperature of the water.Therefore, the liquid may have more volatility.
