Answer:

The number of copper atoms 12.405 ×10²³ atoms.

The number of silver atoms  13.13 ×10²³ atoms.

Beaker B have large number of atoms.

Explanation:

Given data:

In beaker A

Number of moles of copper = 2.06 mol

Number of atoms of copper = ?

In beaker B

Mass of silver = 222 g

Number of atoms of silver = ?

Solution:

For beaker A.

we will solve this problem by using Avogadro number.

The number 6.022×10²³ is called Avogadro number and it is the number of atoms in one mole of substance.

While we have to find the copper atoms in 2.06 moles.

So,

63.546 g = 1 mole = 6.022×10²³ atoms

For 2.06 moles.

2.06 × 6.022×10²³ atoms

The number of copper atoms 12.405 ×10²³ atoms.

For beaker B:

107.87 g = 1 mole = 6.022×10²³ atoms

For 222 g

222 g / 101.87 g/mol = 2.18 moles

2.18 mol × 6.022×10²³ atoms = 13.13 ×10²³ atoms

When 70. milliliter of 3.0-molar Na2CO3 is added to 30. milliliters of 1.0-molar NaHCO3 the resulting concentration of Na+ is 2
tiny-mole [99]

Answer : The resulting concentration of Na^+ ion is, 4.5 M

Explanation : Given,

Concentration of Na_2CO_3 = M_1 = 3.0 M = 3.0 mol/L

Volume of Na_2CO_3 = V_1 = 70 mL = 0.07 L

Concentration of NaHCO_3 = M_2 = 1.0 M = 1.0 mol/L

Volume of NaHCO_3 = V_2 = 30 mL = 0.03 L

First we have to calculate the moles of Na_2CO_3 and NaHCO_3

\text{Moles of }Na_2CO_3=\text{Concentration of }Na_2CO_3\times \text{Volume of }Na_2CO_3=3.0mol/L\times 0.07L=0.21mol

and,

\text{Moles of }NaHCO_3=\text{Concentration of }NaHCO_3\times \text{Volume of }NaHCO_3=1.0mol/L\times 0.03L=0.03mol

Now we have to calculate the moles of Na^+ ions.

As, 1 mole of Na_2CO_3 will give 2 moles of Na^+ ions

So, 0.21 moles of Na_2CO_3 will give 2\times 0.21=0.42 moles of Na^+ ions

and,

As, 1 mole of NaHCO_3 will give 1 mole of Na^+ ions

So, 0.03 moles of NaHCO_3 will give 0.03 moles of Na^+ ions

So,

Total number of moles of Na^+ ions = 0.42 + 0.03 =0.45 mole

Total volume of both solution = 70 mL + 30 mL = 100 mL = 0.1 L

Now we have to calculate the concentration of Na^+ ions.

\text{Concentration of }Na^+=\frac{\text{Moles of }Na^+}{\text{Volume of solution}}=\frac{0.45mol}{0.1L}=4.5mol/L=4.5M

Therefore, the resulting concentration of Na^+ ion is, 4.5 M

How and why do ionic bonds form? Check all of the boxes that apply. Ionic bonds form between metal atoms and other metal atoms.
sammy [17]

2 Ionic bonds form between metal atoms and nonmetal atoms.

4 The less electronegative atoms transfers one or more electrons to the more electronegative atom.

5 The metal atom forms a cation and the nonmetal atom forms an anion.

7 The attraction between ions with an opposite charge forms an ionic bond.

A 0.1064 g sample of a pesticide was decomposed by the action of sodium biphenyl. The liberated Cl- was extracted with water and
Ilya [14]

Answer:

Percentage of an aldrin in the sample is 44.41%.

Explanation:

Cl^-+AgNO_3\rightarrow AgCl+NO_{3}^-

Molarity of the silver nitrate solution = 0.03337 M

Volume of the silver nitrate = 23.28 mL = 0.02328 L

Moles of silver nitrate = n

0.03337 M=\frac{n}{0.02328 L}

n = 0.03337 M\times 0.02328 L=0.0007768 mol

According to reaction 1 mole of silver nitrate recats with 1 moles of chloride ions.

Then 0.0007768 moles of silver nitrate will react with:

\frac{1}{1}\times 0.0007768 mol=0.0007768 mol chloride ions.

In one mole of aldrin there are 6  moles of chloride ions.

Then moles of aldrin containing 0.0007768 moles chloride ions are:

\frac{0.0007768 mol}{6}=0.0001295 mol

Moles of aldrin present in the sample = 0.0001295 mol

Mass of 0.0001295 moles of aldrin present in the sample :

0.0001295 mol × 364.92 g/mol =0.04726 g

Percentage of an aldrin in the sample:

\frac{0.04726 g}{0.1064 g}\times 100=44.41\%

To counter the removal of A  the  equilibrium  change by <u>s</u><em>hifting toward the left</em>

<u><em> </em></u>If the  reaction  is at equilibrium  and we   alter  the condition a new equilibrium  state   is created

<u><em>   </em></u>The  removal  of   A led to the shift of equilibrium  toward the left since  it led to  less  molecules  in reactant side  which favor the backward  reaction.(  equilibrium  shift to the left)
