P = FV

P = power which is 90000W
F = force
V = velocity which is 30m/s

Therefore, 90000 = 30F
F = 3000 N

John runs 1.0 m/s at first, and then accelerates to 1.6 m/s during
erastova [34]

Answer: 0.13m/s^2

Explanation:

Formula: a=\frac{V_2-V_1}{t}

Where;

a = acceleration

V2 = final velocity

V1 = initial velocity

t = time

If John runs 1.0 m/s first, we assume this is V1. He accelerates to 1.6 m/s; this is V2.

a=\frac{1.6m/s-1.0m/s}{4.5s}

a=\frac{0.6m/s}{4.5s}

a=0.13m/s^2

A ball is thrown with a velocity of 35 meters per second at an angle of 30° above the horizontal. which quantity has a magnitude
enot [183]
The quantity that has a magnitude of zero when the ball is at the highest point in its trajectory is the vertical velocity.

In fact, the motion of the ball consists of two separate motions:
- the horizontal motion, on the x-axis, which is a uniform motion with constant velocity v_x=v_0 cos 30^{\circ}, where v_0=35 m/s
- the vertical motion, on the y-axis, which is a uniformly accelerated motion with constant acceleration g=9.81 m/s^2 directed downwards, and with initial velocity v_y=v_= sin 30^{\circ}. Due to the presence of the acceleration g on the vertical direction (pointing in the opposite direction of the initial vertical velocity), the vertical velocity of the ball decreases as it goes higher, up to a point where it becomes zero and it reverses its direction: when the vertical velocity becomes zero, the ball has reached its maximum height.

When the mass of the bottle is 0.125 kg, the KE is______ kg m2/s2.
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]
Answers are:
(1) KE = 1 kg m^2/s^2
(2) KE = 2 kg m^2/s^2
(3) KE = 3 kg m^2/s^2
(4) KE = 4 kg m^2/s^2

Explanation:

(1) Given mass = 0.125 kg
speed = 4 m/s

Since Kinetic energy = (1/2)*m*(v^2)

Plug in the values:
Hence:
KE = (1/2) * 0.125 * (16)
KE = 1 kg m^2/s^2

(2) Given mass = 0.250 kg
speed = 4 m/s

Since Kinetic energy = (1/2)*m*(v^2)

Plug in the values:
Hence:
KE = (1/2) * 0.250 * (16)
KE = 2 kg m^2/s^2

(3) Given mass = 0.375 kg
speed = 4 m/s

Since Kinetic energy = (1/2)*m*(v^2)

Plug in the values:
Hence:
KE = (1/2) * 0.375 * (16)
KE = 3 kg m^2/s^2

(4) Given mass = 0.500 kg
speed = 4 m/s

Since Kinetic energy = (1/2)*m*(v^2)

Plug in the values:
Hence:
KE = (1/2) * 0.5 * (16)
KE = 4 kg m^2/s^2

During fabrication processes, polymeric materials are generally subjected to which of the following conditions? The ambient temp
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

- Elevated temperatures.

- Elevated pressures.

Explanation:

In the manufacture of plastic products are used:

Raw material (pellets) which are the monomers that promote the chemical reaction.

To these are added the charges, in order to reduce the cost of the final product and improve some properties. These charges can be fiberglass, paper, metal structures.

Additives are also added whose mission is to improve or achieve certain properties, such as reducing friction, reducing chemical degradation, increasing electrical conductivity, coloring the product, and all this happens in the presence of a catalyst that is responsible for initiating and accelerating the chemical reaction process.

There are different methods of production of plastics, one of the most frequent is by injection.

Injection is a process that is carried out on machines similar to extrusion machines, in which the spindle, in addition to rotating, has an axial displacement.

In the injection, once the mold is filled, it is separated from the nozzle of the machine, breaking the feed channel. After a certain time, the piece already cooled is demoulded.

High pressures and temperatures are necessary, but parts of good finish and at high production speeds are obtained

Sort the phrases based on whether they represent kinetic energy or potential energy.
alexandr1967 [171]
Kinetic energy:
*the energy of a moving body*
rising water vapor.
the wings of flying hummingbird.
rolling marble.

Potential energy:
*the energy that is stored in a body so that any small change in position or state of the body, will result in this body movement by transforming all this potential energy into kinetic energy*
stone resting.
disconnected battery (the potential energy is what called voltage here)
stretched rubber band.

Hope this helps.
