To provide the pulse of energy needed for an intense bass, some car stereo systems add capacitors. One system uses a 2.4F capaci

tor charged to 24 V, double the normal 12 V provided by the car's battery. How much energy does the capacitor store at 12 V? How much energy does the capacitor store at 24 V?

Answer:

Explanation:

Energy stored in a capacitor

= 1/2 CV²

C is capacitance and V is potential of the capacitor .

When capacitor is charged to 24 V ,

E₁ = 1/2 x 2.4 x 24 x24 = 691.2 J

When it is charged to 12 volt

E₂ = 1/2 CV²

.5 X 2.4 X 12 X12

= 172.8 J

If a coin is dropped at a relatively low altitude, it's acceleration remains constant. However, if the coin is dropped at a very high altitude, air resistance will have a significant effect. The initial acceleration of the coin will be the greatest. As it falls down, air resistance will counteract the weight of the coin. So, the acceleration will decrease. Although the acceleration decreases, the coin still accelerates, that is why it falls faster. When the air resistance fully counters the weight of the coin, the acceleration will become zero and the coin will fall at a constant speed (terminal velocity). So, the answer should be, The acceleration decreases until it reaches 0. The closest answer is.
a. The acceleration decreases.

If in a vernier callipers 10 VSD coincides with 8 MSD then the least count of varnier calliper is
ratelena [41]

Answer:0.2mm

Explanation:

The length of one VSD=8/10=0.8mm

The least count of the instrument is the difference between the length of one MSD and length of one VSD

The length of inebriated MSD=1mm

Therefore,

The least count=1-0.8=0.2mm

Tammy leaves the office, drives 26 km due
fredd [130]

Answer:

72.98 km

Explanation:

Her displacement is simply the distance from her final position to her initial position.

Now, I've drawn and attached a triangle diagram to depict this her movement.

Point O is her initial starting point.

Point A is the first point she gets to after travelling north while point B is the final point after travelling north east.

From the triangle, the displacement will be the distance OB which is denoted by x and can be solved from cosine rule.

Thus;

x² = 62² + 26² - 2(62 × 26)cos 120

x² = 4520 + 806

x² = 5326

x = √5326

x = 72.98 km
