Answer:

[NaCl] = 0.45 M

Explanation:

First of all, you should be sure of what sort of concentration do you need. There are many ways to express concentration in a solution.

Let's calculate molarity. This is moles of solute in 1 L of solution.

Molar mass NaCl = 58.45 g/m

Mass / Molar mass = Mol → 9.3 g / 58.45 g/m = 0.159 moles

Volume of solution is 350 mL

Convert mL to L (/1000)

350 mL / 1000 = 0.350L

0.159 moles / 0.350L = 0.45 M

moles CaCO3: 1.31 g/100 g/mole CaCO3= 0.0131 </span>

From stoichiometry, 1 mole of CO2 is formed per 1 mole CaCO3, therefore 0.0131 moles CO2 should also be formed.
0.0131 moles CO2 x 44 g/mole CO2 = 0.576 g CO2 </span>

melisa1 [442]

We have to know the number of Na⁺ ions in the unit cell.

The number of Na⁺ ions in the unit cell is (D) 8.

Sodium oxide (Na2O) crystallizes in a structure in which the O2– ions are in a face - centered cubic lattice and the Na+ ions are in tetrahedral holes.

O²⁻ ions are in a face centred cubic lattice, so the number of O²⁻ ions per unit cell is equal to 4. The number of  tetrahedral hole= 2 X 4=8. Na+ ions are present in tetrahedral holes, which indicates there are 8 number of Na+ ions in the unit cell.

How many atoms of nitrogen are in 1.2 grams of aspartame?
qaws [65]
The molecular formula for aspartame is C14H18N2O5, and its molar mass is about 294 g/mol.

Convert 1.2 g into moles, which gives

1.2 g / 294 g/mol = 4.08 X 10-3 moles aspartame.

Since each mole of aspartame has 2 moles of nitrogen, you have 8.16 X 10-3 moles of N in your 1.2 grams of aspartame.

Finally, multiply that by Avogadro's number to get the number of N atoms:

8.16 X 10^-3 mol X 6.02 X 10^23 = 4.9 X 10^21 nitrogen atoms.
