Answer:

Final Velocity = √(eV/m)

Explanation:

The Workdone, W, in accelerating a charge, 2e, through a potential difference, V is given as a product of the charge and the potential difference

W = (2e) × V = 2eV

And this work is equal to change in kinetic energy

W = Δ(kinetic energy) = ΔK.E

But since the charge starts from rest, initial velocity = 0 and initial kinetic energy = 0

ΔK.E = ½ × (mass) × (final velocity)²

(Velocity)² = (2×ΔK.E)/(mass)

Velocity = √[(2×ΔK.E)/(mass)]

ΔK.E = W = 2eV

mass = 4m

Final Velocity = √[(2×W)/(4m)]

Final Velocity = √[(2×2eV)/4m]

Final Velocity = √(4eV/4m)

Final Velocity = √(eV/m)

Hope this Helps!!!

A force pair is produced when a tennis racket strikes a tennis ball. Which of the following best explains why the tennis ball do
Serga [27]

Answer:

Each half of the force pair acts on a different object.

Explanation:

When a tennis racket strikes a tennis ball a pair force is produced. when the racket strikes the ball the racket exerts an action force on the tennis ball, according to Newton's third law for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction force, as a reaction the ball exert an equal and opposite force on the racket. These forces are often called pair forces.

As the forces acts on different bodies (Action force act on ball and reaction force act on racket) so the net force tennis ball is never zero.

Here are the positions at three different times for a bee in flight (a bee's top speed is about 7 m/s). Time 6.6 s 6.9 s 7.2 s P
Ber [7]

Answer:

(A.) (- 4.33, 6.33 , 0); (B.) (- 3.66, 7.5, 0); (C.) average at (A) (- 4.33, 6.33 , 0) ; (D.) (- 0.2165, 0.3165, 0)

Explanation:

Given the following :

Time - - - - - - - 6.6s - - - - - - - - - 6.9s - - - - - 7.2s

Position - (1.8,5.0,0) - (0.5,6.9,0) - - (−0.4,9.5,0)

(a) Between 6.6 s and 6.9 s, what was the bee's average velocity?

Vavg = Distance / time

[(0.5,6.9,0) - (1.8,5.0,0)] / 6.9 - 6.6

Vavg = [(0.5 - 1.8), (6.9 - 5.0), (0 - 0)] / 0.3

Vavg = - 1.3 / 0.3, 1.9/0.3, 0/3

Vavg = (- 4.33, 6.33 , 0)

b) Between 6.6 s and 7.2 s, what was the bee's average velocity?

Vavg = [(−0.4,9.5,0) - (1.8,5.0,0)] / 7.2 - 6.6

Vavg = - 2. 2/0.6, 4.5/0.6, 0/0.6

Vavg = (- 3.66, 7.5, 0)

c.) Of the two averages (- 4.3, 6.3 , 0) is closer to the instantaneous Velocity at 6.6s

D.) (d) Using the best information available, what was the displacement of the bee during the time interval from 6.6 s to 6.65 s?

Displacement = Velocity * time

Vavg between 6.6 to 6.9 ; time = (6.65 - 6.6) = 0.05 s

= (- 4.33, 6.33 , 0) * 0.05

= (- 0.2165, 0.3165, 0)

An airplane flying at 115 m/s due east makes a gradual turn following a circular path to fly south. The turn takes 15 seconds to
ankoles [38]

Answer:

The magnitude of the centripetal acceleration during the turn is a=12.04\ m/s^2.

Explanation:

Given :

Speed to the airplane in circular path , v = 115 m/s.

Time taken by plane to turn , t= 15 s.

Also , the plane turns from east to south i.e. quarter of a circle .

Therefore, time taken to complete whole circle is , T=t\times 4=60\ s.

Now , Velocity ,

v=\dfrac{2\pi r}{T}\\\\115=\dfrac{2\times 3.14\times r}{60}\\\\r=1098.73\ m.

Also , we know :

Centripetal acceleration ,

a=\dfrac{v^2}{r}

Putting all values we get :

a=12.04\ m/s^2.

Hence , this is the required solution .

Given that average speed is distance traveled divided by time, determine the values of m and n when the time it takes a beam of
schepotkina [342]
If speed = distance/time , then time = speed/distance.

So...

Speed of light = 3*10^8(m/s)
Average distance from Earth to Sun = 149.6*10^9(m)

Therefore, t=(3*10^8(m/s))/(149.6*10^9(m))

I hope this was a helpful explanation, please reply if you have further questions about the problem.

Good luck!

Focus groups are one of the most widely used ________ methods to gain greater understanding of a current problem or to develop p
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

Exploratory

Explanation:

Focus groups

It is a small group of 8-12 respondents guided by a moderator through a thorough debate on a specific subject or idea.It's great for generation of ideas, brainstorming, insight into motives, attitudes, and perceptions. it can show likes, dislikes,emotional requirements and prejudices.

Exploratory methods are used to gain initial insights that could pave the way for further investigation.

Some of the exploratory methods are focus groups, Key informant,case studies,secondary data and observational data.
