Answer : The cost per ounce is, 0.36 dollars/ounce

Solution : Given,

The cost of strawberries = 5.76 dollars per pound

As we know that,

1 dollars per ounce is equal to the 16 dollars per pound

or,

1 dollars per pound is equal to 0.0625 dollars per ounce

5.76 dollars per pound is equal to 0.0625\times 5.76=0.36 dollars per ounce

Therefore, the cost per ounce is, 0.36 dollars/ounce

$6.72/lb = $6.72/16 oz = $0.42/oz = 42 cents per ounce

<span>RE: "numerically to the hundredths place." </span>

<span>Since, in this case, you're dealing with money, "the hundredths place" simply means, "to the nearest cent."</span>

The complex ion, [ni(nh3)6] 2+, has a maximum absorption near 580 nm. calculate the crystal field splitting energy (in kj/mol) f
Wewaii [24]
In given data:
maximum absorption wavelength λ = 580 nm = 580 x 10⁻⁹ m
write the equation to find the crystal field splitting energy:
E = hC / λ
Here, E is the crystal field splitting energy, h = 6.63 x 10⁻³⁴ J.sec is Planck's constant and C = 3 x 10⁸ m/sec is speed of light.
substitute in the equation above:
E = (6.64 x 10⁻³⁴ x 3 x 10⁸) / (580 x 10⁻⁹) = 3.43 x 10⁻¹⁹J
This crystal field splitting energy is for 1 ion.
Number of atoms in one mole, NA = 6.023 x 10²³
to calculate the crystal field splitting energy for one mole:
E(total) = E x NA
             = (3.43 x 10⁻¹⁹) x (6.023 x 10²³) = 206 kJ/ mole

0.15 gm of metallic oxide was dissolved in 100 ml of 0.1 N H2SO4 and 25.8 ml of 0.095N NaOH were used to neutralise the remainin
Mila [183]

Answer:

Explanation:

25.8 ml of .095 N NaOH is needed to neutralise the remaining acid

equivalent of NaOH used = 25.8 x .095 / 1000 = .002451 gm equivalent .

acid remaining = .002451 gm equivalent .

acid initially taken = 100 ml of .1 N  /  1000  = . 01 gm equivalent

acid reacted with metal = .01  -.002451 = .007549 gm equivalent

This must have reacted with same gram equivalent of metal oxide

.007549  gm equivalent = .15 gm of metal oxide

1 gm equivalent = 19.87 gm

equivalent weight of metal = 19.87 - equivalent weight of oxygen

= 19.87 - 8 = 11.87 .

How many milligrams of sodium sulfide are needed to completely react with 25.00 ml of a 0.0100 m aqueous solution of cadmium nit
NARA [144]
Na₂S(aq) + Cd(NO₃)₂(aq) = CdS(s) + 2NaNO₃(aq)

v=25.00 mL
c=0.0100 mmol/mL
M(Na₂S)=78.046 mg/mmol

n(Na₂S)=n{Cd(NO₃)₂}=cv

m(Na₂S)=M(Na₂S)n(Na₂S)=M(Na₂S)cv

m(Na₂S)=78.046*0.0100*25.00≈19.5 mg

Alecsey [184]

Answer:

Without dark matter galaxies would loose an extreme amount of gas required to create stars.

Without dark matter the universe wont have as many galaxies clumped together forming larger versions of those galaxies. This would cause a change in the structure of the "skeleton" of the web.
