Sulphur (S), Iodine (I) and Magnesium (Mg) are all three, solids at the room temperature. Thus they have the same phase at room temperature.
Sulphur and Iodine are not good conductors of electricity.
Also while Sulphur is in group 6, Magnesium is in group 2. Therefore they do not have the same number of valence electrons. Sulphur is making anions (negative ions) and Magnesium is making cations (positive ions).

Calculate the force of gravity between two objects of masses 1300 kg and 7800 kg, which are 0.23 m apart.
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

F = Gm1m2/r^2 where G = 6.67x10^-11, m1 =1300, m2 = 7800, r = 0.23m

F = 6.67x10^-11 *1300*7800/(0.23)^2 = 0.0127852N

where again p is the phonon momentum, E is the photon energy and c is the speed of light. When you divide the photon energy foun
creativ13 [48]

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

p = momentum of photon

E = energy of photon

c = velocity of light

Units of p = kg m /s

Units of E = kg m^2 / s^2

Units of E / p = {kg m^2 / s^2} / {kg m /s} = m/s

It is the unit of speed, so by the division of energy to the momentum, we get the speed. yes it is correct.

A 5.00-kg ball is hanging from a long but very light flexible wire when it is struck by a 1.50-kg stone traveling horizontally t
devlian [24]

consider the right direction as positive and left direction as negative.

M = mass of the ball = 5 kg

m = mass of stone = 1.50 kg

V_{bi} = initial velocity of the ball before collision = 0 m/s

V_{si} = initial velocity of the stone before collision = 12 m/s

V_{bf} = final velocity of the ball after collision = ?

V_{sf} = final velocity of the stone after collision = - 8.50 m/s

using conservation of momentum

MV_{bi} + mV_{si} = MV_{bf} + mV_{sf}

(5) (0) + (1.5) (12) = 5 V_{bf} + (1.50) (- 8.50)

V_{bf} = 6.15 m/s

h = height gained by the ball

using conservation of energy

Potential energy gained by ball at Top = kinetic energy at the bottom

Mgh = (0.5) MV_{bf}^{2}

(9.8) h = (0.5) (6.15)²

h = 1.93 m
