Answer:

Ksp = 1.08 × 10⁻⁷

Explanation:

Given data:

Solubility of PbF₂ = 0.74 g/L

Ksp for PbF₂ = ?

Solution:

PbF₂ → Pb⁺² + 2F⁻

Number of moles dissolved = 0.74 g/L /245.2 g/mol

Number of moles dissolved = 0.003 M

[Pb⁺²] = 0.003 M

[F⁻] = 0.003 M × 2 = 0.006 M

Ksp = [Pb⁺²] [F⁻]²

Ksp = (0.003 ) (0.006 )²

Ksp = (0.003 ) (3.6 ×10⁻⁵)

Ksp = 1.08 × 10⁻⁷

Which of the following statements about monosaccharide structure is true?
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

The only statement about monosaccharide structure which is true is b. (Monosaccharides can be classified according to the spatial arrangement of their atoms)

Explanation:

Monosaccharides are simple sugars that are classified according to the amount of carbon atoms and based on these numbers, we can call them trioses, pentoses and hexoses. They are molecules with aldehyde (aldose) or centone (ketose) groups that have more than one alcohol function, but which do not differ in their position (OH). They do not contain N, since their general formula is Cx (H2O) x. A 6-carbon monosaccharide is called hexose, since the pentose only has 5

The easiest way to determine whether a process is exothermic or endothermic is to note the change in temperature in a calorimete
Kryger [21]

Answer:

In the calorimeter, water is the exothermic. The salt LiCI, which will dissolve, is the endothermic. The final temperature of the water after the dissolution of LiCI was lower than the initial temperature, meaning the process is exothermic. In the microscopic view of the disspolution of LiCI, water molecules were seen to move slowly as they gained energy.

Explanation:

Exothermic is a process in which heat is released during the process. Endothermic reactions absorbs heat from surrounding during a chemical process. The dissolution of salt into water is an exothermic reaction. During this process heat is release and water molecules are broken down which are surrounded by salt ions.

Given the following balanced reaction of hydrochloric acid and oxygen gas forming chlorine gas and water, how many grams of hydr
nadya68 [22]
The ratio of moles of reactants to moles of products can be seen from the coefficients in a balanced equation. In our case 4 moles of hydrochloric acid reacts with one mole of oxygen to produce two moles of chlorine and water. So, the ratio of moles of hydrochloric acid to moles of chlorine is 2:1. To determine the number moles, divide the mass by the mass of one mole.
Cl2 = 2 * 35.45 = 70.9 grams
Number of moles = 335 ÷ 70.9
This is approximately 4.72 moles. The number of moles of hydrochloric acid is twice this number.

Mass of one mole = 1 + 35.46 = 36.45 grams
Total mass = 2 * (335 ÷ 70.9) * 36.45
This is approximately 344.45 grams.
Correct answer A.
