Answer:

The magnitudes of the net magnetic fields at points A and B is 2.66 x 10^{-6} T

Explanation:

Given information :

The current of each wires, I = 4.7 A

dH = 0.19 m

dV = 0.41 m

The magnetic of straight-current wire :

B= μ_{0}I/2πr

where

B = magnetic field (T)

μ_{0} = 1.26 x 10^{-6} (N/A^{2})

I = Current (A)

r = radius (m)

the magnetic field at points A and B is the same because both of wires have the same distance. Based on the right-hand rule, the net magnetic field of A and B is canceled each other (or substracted). Thus,

BH = μ_{0}I/2πr

     = (1.26 x 10^{-6})(4.7)/(2π)(0.19)

     = 4.96 x 10^{-6} T

BV = μ_{0}I/2πr

     = (1.26 x  10^{-6})(4.7)/(2π)(0.41)

     = 2.3 x 10^{-6} T

hence,

the net magnetic field = BH - BV

                                     = 4.96 x 10^{-6} - 2.3 x 10^{-6}

                                     = 2.66 x 10^{-6} T

A research group at Dartmouth College has developed a Head Impact Telemetry (HIT) System that can be used to collect data about
Olin [163]

Answer:

6.05 cm

Explanation:

The given equation is

2 aₓ(x-x₀)=( Vₓ²-V₀ₓ²)

The initial head velocity V₀ₓ =11 m/s

The final head velocity  Vₓ is 0

The accelerationis given by =1000 m/s²

the stopping distance = x-x₀=?

So we can wind the stopping distance by following formula

2 (-1000)(x-x₀)=[0^{2} -11^{2}]

x-x₀=6.05*10^{-2} m

       =6.05 cm

The gravitational field of m1 is denoted by g1. Enter an expression for the gravitational field g1 at position la in terms of m1
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

The expression of gravitational field due to mass m_! at a distance l_a

Explanation:

We have given mass is m_1

Distance of the point where we have to find the gravitational field is l_a

Gravitational constant G

We have to find the gravitational filed

Gravitational field is given by g=\frac{Gm_1}{l_a^2}

This will be the expression of gravitational field due to mass m_! at a distance l_a

fiasKO [112]
Coefficient of static friction = tan(a) = 0.4
r = 740 m
g = 9.8 m/s²
v \:  =  \:  \sqrt{gr \tan( \alpha ) }
v = √(9.8 × 740 × 0.4) m/s
v ≈ 53.85908 m/s

If the frequencies of two component waves are 24 Hz and 20 Hz, they should produce _______ beats per second.
horrorfan [7]
This can be answered using the beat frequency formula, which is simply the difference between 2 frequencies.

Let: <span>fᵇ = beat frequency
</span>f₁ = first frequency
f₂ = second frequency

fᵇ = |f₁ - f₂|

substituting the values:
fᵇ = |24Hz - 20Hz|
fᵇ = 4Hz

The unit Hz also means beats per second, therefore:
<span>fᵇ = 4 beats per second
</span>
Therefore, the answer is C. 4
