The uniform 100-kg I-beam is supported initially by its end rollers on the horizontal surface at A and B. by means of the cable

at C, it is desired to elevate end B to a position 3 m above end A. Determine the required tension P, the reaction at A, and the angle q made by the beam with the horizontal in the elevated position.

I attached a free body diagram for a better understanding of this problem.

We start making summation of Moments in A,

\sum M_A = 0

P(6cos\theta)-981(4cos\theta)=0

P=654N

Then we make a summation of Forces in Y,

\sum F_y = 0

654+R-981 = 0

R=327N

At the end we calculate the angle with the sin.

sin\theta = \frac{3m}{4m+2m+2m} = \frac{3m}{8m}

\theta = 22.02\°

If you go to a website known as 'Wolfram' and type in the question they should be able to answer it.  It's basically a very smart calculator.  I'd add a link but I don't want to seem like I'm advertising, and it's against Brainly rules.

Observe: Up until now, all the problems you have solved have involved converting only one unit. However, some conversion problem
ipn [44]

Answer:

t is appropriate to clarify that units such as time and angles the transformation is not in base ten, for example:

        60 s = 1 min

        60 min = 1 h

        24 h = 1 day

Therefore, for this transformation, you must be more careful

the length transformation is base 10

Explanation:

In many exercises the units used are transformed by equations into other units called derivatives, in general the transformation of derived units is the product of the transformation of the constituent units.

In the example of velocity, the derivative unit is m / s, which is why it works in the same way that you transform length and time if in the equation it is multiplying it is multiplied and if it is dividing it is divided.

It is appropriate to clarify that units such as time and angles the transformation is not in base ten, for example:

        60 s = 1 min

        60 min = 1 h

        24 h = 1 day

Therefore, for this transformation, you must be more careful

the length transformation is base 10

      1000 m = 1 km

1) What is the highest atomic number element a red dwarf star can produce in its core? a. Carbon b. Oxygen c. Helium d. Iron
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

1) c. Helium

2) Iron

3) False.

Explanation:

1. Red dwarf is the smallest and the coolest star on the sequence. These are common stars in the milky way. Red dwarfs contains metals and the elements with higher atomic number. It is found that Helium is produced in red dwarf stars.

2. Iron is the highest atomic number element that is produced in cores of largest stars. The highest mass stars can make all elements up to iron, which is the heaviest element they can produce.

3. The end of stars life is dependent on the mass they are born with. It is not necessary that all red dwarf stars will become white dwarf stars faster than sun like star.

schepotkina [342]
The radius of the circular path is 1.5 m.

The circumference is then
1.5\ m*2\pi=3\pi\ m

The ball moves 3π m every 2.2 s, so the speed is
\frac{3\pi\ m}{2.2\ s}\approx 4.3\ m/s
