Momentum = Mass x Velocity
80kg Runner: 80 x 2.45 = 196 Kg m/s
65kg Runner: 65 x 3= 195 Kg m/s

The 80kg runner has a greater momentum

A large flask is evacuated and weighed, filled with argon gas, and then reweighed. When reweighed, the flask is found to have ga
Elden [556K]

Answer:

100.52

Explanation:

from the ideal gas equation PV=nRT

for a given container filled with any ideal gas P and V remains constant. So T is also constant.R is as such a constant.

So n i.e no of moles will also be constant.

no of moles of Ar=3.224/40=0.0806

no of moles of unknown gas=0.0806

molecular wt of unknown gas=8.102/0.0806=100.52

Check 0/1 ptRetries 5 Element R has three isotopes. The isotopes are present in 0.0825, 0.2671, and 0.6504 relative abundance. I
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

Atomic mass = 127.198 amu

Explanation:

The average atomic mass is obtained by summing the masses of the isotopes each multiplied by its abundance.

Atomic mass = (97.62 * 0.0825) + (109.3 * 0.2671) + (138.3 * 0.6504)

Atomic mass = 8.05365 +  29.19403 + 89.95032

Atomic mass = 127.198 amu

An atom of the element zinc has an atomic number of 30 and a mass number of 65. How many protons does an uncharged zinc atom hav
navik [9.2K]

Answer : The correct option is, 30 protons

Explanation :

Element = Zinc

Atomic number = 30

Atomic mass number = 65

As we know that the atomic number is equal to the number of electrons and number of protons.

Atomic number = Number of electrons = Number of protons = 30

Number of neutrons = Atomic mass - Number of protons = 65 - 30 = 35

Therefore, the number of protons an uncharged zinc atom have 30 protons.

At 10 K Cp,m(Hg(s)) = 4.64 J K−1 mol−1. Between 10 K and the melting point of Hg(s), 234.3 K, heat capacity measurements indicat
umka21 [38]

Answer:

S°m,298K = 85.184 J/Kmol

Explanation:

∴ T = 10 K ⇒ Cp,m(Hg(s)) = 4.64 J/Kmol

∴ 10 K to 234.3 K ⇒ ΔS = 57.74 J/Kmol

∴ T = 234.3 K ⇒ ΔHf = 2322 J/mol

∴ 234.3 K to 298.0 K ⇒ ΔS = 6.85 J/Kmol

⇒ S°m,298K = S°m,0K + ∫CpdT/T(10K) + ΔS(10-234.3) + ΔHf/T(234.3K) + ΔS(234.3-298)

⇒ S°m,298K = 0 + 10.684 J/Kmol + 57.74 J/Kmol + 9.9104 J/Kmol + 6.85 J/kmol

⇒ S°m,298K = 85.184 J/Kmol
